Retainer Fee & Tuition
Assistant Midwife (assist/secondary) or Intern Midwife (primary) – The retainer of 1/2 of the total tuition due will be due in order to hold your dates on our calendar. The remainder of tuition is due at least 30 days prior to your arrival date.
Doula (observe) – The retainer of 1/2 of the total tuition due will be due in order to hold your dates on our calendar. The remainder of tuition is due at least 30 days prior to your arrival date
All tuition is 50% refundable if student cancels at least 30 days prior to start date.
Intern Midwife (primary) & Assistant Midwife (assist) Tuition
Tuition is $300 per clinical week for Assistant Midwife and $400 per clinical week for Intern Midwife and includes skills training workshops. We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. We do not accept American Express.
Minimum total stay for Assistant Midwife is 3 weeks. Intern midwife students may come by invitation only. We do not accept applications for Intern/Primary midwifery students. Midwifery students who are interested in becoming Primary students with us must apply to the Assistant midwife position and come for the minimum stay of 3 weeks. After this time, students interested and eligible for the primary position may be invited to apply at the discretion of Birthing Your Way. Minimum stay for primary is 4 weeks.
Doula (observe) Tuition
Tuition is $250 per week for doula students, with a two week minimum stay required.

Our students can live on site or off-site. On-site housing is included at no additional cost and is highly recommended. Students are provided a room to sleep in and access to all amenities. They may have to share a room with another student and/or living space depending on how many students there are at the time. The living quarters and kitchen are fully stocked, but students must provide their own food. We strongly recommend our students live on site as many opportunities that students may get in providing midwifery care can be at the spur of the moment. Those living off-site may miss some of those moments to learn. Those who choose to live off site are responsible for all incurred costs and must be within a 20 minute commute to both Lehi and Provo, Utah.
Students are required to have their own car during their stay, have a working US cell phone number, and a smartphone, as many updates throughout the day are done through apps only available on current smartphones. We do a car that is available to rent, please contact us for more details.
